Itchy Red Bumps on Forearms?
Someone please help me!! Recently I have been breaking out in what I think look like mosquito bites. At first they were primarily on my legs, and I went to the doctor, who then put me on Medrol dosepack. It seemed to help but as soon as I was off the pack, the bumps starting coming back on my forearms. I went back to the doctor who said it must be an allergic reaction to my soap or detergent, but I have discontinued using those brands and I'm still getting the bumps. They are extremely itchy and red and look like mosquito bites. I have gone through an entire box of Benadryl and have been putting hydrocortisone cream on it to stop the itching....but it's still not helping.
I seriously don't know what it is and my doctor doesn't seem to concerned about it, but I'm going nuts with this itching....not to mention, it's pretty unattractive having a nice red "rash" on your arm.
If anyone has any insight, please please PLEASE let me know! :)

Mites
It could be bird mites. Check to see if you have a bird nest in your roof. I had an Indian Miner birds nest in my roof and the mites got into my home though the wall vents. They are so tiny you can hardly see them. When they bite they leave small red lumps, smaller than mosquito bites and the itching lasts for days.
It may not be mites but it is worth checking it out, just in case it is. If it turns out it is bird mites you have to get rid of the nest.
Where gloves and breathing protection and spay yourself with an insect repellent. Then set off a couple of flea bombs in your roof and home to kill the mites. I did it twice to be on the safe side.
Hives. Go see a doctor. Good Luck! :)
