A blood test would be the first thing done to rule out cancer before doing further tests. It is not conclusive of cancer. Many tests have skewed readings..They are "markers" i.e. indicators of cellular activity. So, don't worry if one particular test is high. That just means that further testing should be done. But, by all means, do the testing. Cancer is very curable in most cases if caught early. Good luck!

blood testing is a teriffic way to diagnos if something is going on with a person. if there is and inflamation in your system, a blood test is the first test suggested according to my physician. next there would be more and better
