What's the effect of smoking on after treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma ?

Stage I nodular sclerosis HL treated with ABVD 4 months + RT. Clear PET after treatment, clear PET after 1 yr.

Real effect of smoking on prognosis?

Bleomycin causes damage to the lungs as will radiation to your chest. Smoking can cause lung function to decrease. Should the cancer come back, your body may not have enough strength to fight the cancer without aid. Also, you cannot be on oxygen for future medical problems due to bleomycin and oxygen toxicity. Why would anyone want to risk getting another type of cancer after the first?
Why would you WANT to smoke? I mean you're already dealing with one cancer. Do you really want to deal with another later on in life?
