my vagina is red and itchy and swollen but only one lip?

I know there is a similiar question up, but my problem is that only one of the lips is red and itchy and swollen, and I had to wake up in the middle of the night to find it out. Where did this come from? Can this be an yeast infection? or could it be something else? mine is just extremely red and swollen.. But not the whole thing just one lip!!!! what do I do

see a gyno and get evalutated. and checked it could be some sort of vaginal infection.

A yeast infection could do this but you need to see your gynecologist pronto!

ITS DEFINITELY A YEAST INFECTION
Did u take any antibiotics recently?
Do you masturbate or use toys ?
Wear tight clothes in 90 degree weather?
A few things can trigger a yeast infection.
In my opinion if it was a STD if will be some burning and/or broken skin,

Sounds like external thrush to me. It can itch in specific areas. Go see the doc and they could give you some cream. In the mean time keep it clean. You could try putting natural yoghurt on it, that stuffs good for helping fix yeast infections. Definitely see the Doc tho.

I had something similar. It is a vulva fungus and you need nystsatin cream. Prescription stuff, so go to the doctor. have her culture you and draw blood for yeast. Sometimes it just keeps coming back and takes several medications combined to clear it up. i was sick for 3 months and kept coming up negative.
