It is something to be taken seriously. Your liver purifies your blood, otherwise you would die from the crap in your body.
Hopefully whatever you have was found with time to spare. If so, it will give the doctors a big break in helping you get back to being your "old self" again.
There are different types of tumors and they can cause serious problems. Also, a rarity might be a cyst. Not sure hoe people get cysts inside their bodies, but the doctors originally thought my mom had an ovarian cyst. So it might be possible. If so, it'd be kind of a relief of sorts.
