Why is it hard to breath through my nose? Allergies?

Question:
I don't think I have allergies but my nose always feels "plugged" and dry. I have tried blowing it but nothing comes out. Is this allergies or something else?

Answers:
My son has always been stuffy and he always breathed through his mouth. He recently had his adenoids removed and now he can breathe much better. The surgeon said they had grown up into the back of his nose. So I'm sure this is why it was always hard for him to breath
Actually, my brother just had his tonsils taken out because of what the general doctors thought was allergies, but i suggest get tested for allergies and they'll give you medicine for that, and if it doesnt clear up so see a ears, nose and throat doctor...it might be that your tonsils are inflammed
