Question:
Answers:
basic anatomical structures such as 4 chambers and valves, the ability to compensate for high and low blood pressures (speed or slow down the rate), the ability to function independently, the ability to "communicate" with surrounding structures in a split second in order to facilitate rapid response, compatibility with the host, when a person's respiration's have ceased (RHC as it is known in the medical world) then the heart would cease as well, just as nature prescribed. and I'm sure there is a whole lot more that I don't have a clue about.
