Is there and external reason for high blood pressure in healthy young people?
Question:
Since last Monday i have had hi blood pressure measurements (145/95) at the gym before exercise, the problem is that I do not fell any side effects like dizziness, light headed, fatigue….and so on.
My physician ordered several exams (blood, urine and even thorax X-ray) but he did not found any thing that can cause it.
Is there and external reason for high blood pressure in healthy young people?
Im very. very worried about it! Thanks!!

Your excessive exercise might not be helping. Excersise puts your blood pressure up, especially weight training - think about how you feel when your are pushing that last rep on the bench press . your veins are almost popping out of your head!
And whatever driving factor is behind your marathon workouts might also be the cause of your hypertension.
Better see the good Doc, drink plenty of water to keep your blood flowing smoothly and don't try to be a hero in the gym, focus on burning fat - not just bulking up on muscles. Good luck!

No one knows for sure.
Extremes of temperature, emotional stress, physical stress, plus diet stess can cause high blood pressure. also alot of OTC cold medicines and cough syrups can make you blood pressure go up. I hope your doc put you on medication. High bp is nothing to play around with.
OK high blood pressure can have numerous causes but it is called the SILENT KILLER because too many people have it and never know it until damage is already done.
Now with that said diet, exercise, illness (detected or undetected) stress, some supplements and heredity can all be a cause for slightly elevated BP (yes yours is only SLIGHTLY ELEVATED) normal range for your age is 100/70- 140/90 but may very slightly. Typically it takes three consecutive high readings at DIFFERENT times of the day to diagnose high blood pressure.
You could have had a stressor that caused a slightly elevated reading (pain can also cause a higher than normal reading) and then became more stressed and then had additional high readings.
Now there is also something called the "WHITE COAT SYNDROME" it happens when people go to the doctors and have there BP checked. They have elevated readings. (psychosomatic)
Same people at same Dr's office had bp's checked yet the Dr did not have his white lab coat on and the bp reading was normal.
Addedafterthefact.
Your BP 145/95 is not that great a concern everyone is always stressed about the top number, but in reality it is the BOTTOM mumber that you need to be extremely concerned with. (dont get me wrong both are important but read on and youll see why i stress this.) This number is the amount of PASSIVE RESISTANCE that the blood supply has to work against to fill the heart atria at rest The atria are passive in there filling, and the blood just dumps into them. The upper number is the blood as the ventricles squeeze the blood out of the heart to the circulatory system. Venous=passive arterial=pressure this is why an artery spurts where a vein oozes. not the ventricles have a pressure of 100/10 where the atria has a pressure of 20-30/10 (approximate)
Now if your resting pressure (the bottom number aka diastolic) is elivated then it means that the blood has extra pressure preventing the heart from filling appropriately with blood. This causes the heart to work harder.
