Throat/chest cancer can be spread..... ?

Question:
I wana know if throat/chest cancer can be spread by any means from one person to another, by sharing food, mouth kissing, etc…

Also, for my info. I would like to know that if any kind of cancer can be spread from one person to another by any means?

Answers:
Cancer is not infectious. So it can't be spread from person to person by any means.

Having said that, it's been proved that some cancers can be triggered off by a virus. For instance, there is a new vaccine to prevent cervical cancer. It works by immunising girls against the human papilloma virus. If you can't catch the virus, you can't get the cancer.

So it is possible that as science progresses, we will find that other cancers are caused or triggered by viruses, too. And since viruses are contagious, they could easily be caught by kissing.

However, only a small percentage of people who catch the virus, will go on to develop cancer. So I'd say it's not worth worrying about at this stage.
Cancer is not a contagous disease. There is no cancer that you can spread to another person... cancer is usually hereditary which means it runs in families... if your parents or siblings have cancer you should probably just be checked for it at a younger age than normal
