Breathlessness problem, help please !?
Question:
Answers:
There are many lung diseases and conditions that cause breathlessness. You should see a pulmonary specialist for various tests, including blood tests and pulmonary function tests (PFT's) Many can come on fairly suddenly, as was in my case. Some are adult onset asthma, broncheolitis, sarcoidosis, and others. There are various inhalers that will help you, and there are steroids that can greatly ease your breathing difficulty. From my own experience, be sure that the treatment is helping you, if not or only little, do not hesitate to get another opinion, or two. It could very well be that you have a heart condition, such as Mitral Valve Stenosis, that can cause pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs, even if your overall is normal), resulting in reduced lung capacity and actual lung tissue damage. Don't wait, damage can be occuring right now, and your breathlessness could worsen quickly. Nip it in the bud. If you can't breathe, nothing else matters...
if i were you i would go to the hospital and get that checked out that dosent sound like a good thing
