heart /alcohol?

Answers:
Alcohol thins the blood and actually reduces the chances of a heart attack in normal doses. The problem is with people who have excessive doses and destroy their liver, which normally filters out harmful materials that can affect the heart. If you have had a heart attack from excessive alcohol intake then chances are even if you survive it liver failure will kill you.

Just because you were drinking when you had your heart attack does not mean the alcohol caused it. You would have had it if you were sitting in a park sipping a soda.
