Answers:
If you washed the towels and sheets what are you worried about?

If you don't know the basic facts about how HIV is spread, and from all your questions apparently you don't, then take the time to educate yourself and then you can spend less time obsessing over unrealistic situations like this.

Other Answers:
when someone has aids, blood is a contact of source, if on a towel or elsewhere, and if a person comes in contact, and touches an open area of skin, or eyes, mouth or open sore, they can become contaminated. I assume you are boarding this person, and it may not be family, if so i suggest you find her help. I really do not agree to the privilege of privacy, when people with no self respect can impose this disease on innocent people. you need to find her help, as it seems she cannot help herself at this time. If there is blood on the towel and it comes in contact with a wound, and as i said other areas, you have to protect yourself, sex and drugs is one big way of getting the diease. what is wrong with people these days, all they can think about is instant gratification, and do not care if they infect others. Get a life people do something for your country, its going down, get busy in something for other than yourself!!

I was in the same problem not to long ago. No you will not get aids. The only way that you could get it is by sharing a needle, having sex, but not sharing the same towel. But if you feel uncomfortable with using the towels then throw them away. There are many facts on the Internet about aids. Don't just take one persons advise. Read different articles, this has helped me out alot. Good Luck! If you washed the towels she used then there is no chance of you get tings aids from her towel. Not to mention if there was blood on the towel she used and you came into contact with it,you would have to either A-consumed it in some way(i know gross) or B-rubbed it into an open wound. Even then it would be a very slim chance of you getting the hiv virus. However we all know that we would be freakin too so if it will make you feel better throw them out.But be rest assured that the possibility of you getting aids from this girl are slim to none unless you exchanged bodily fluids with her.So sleep ok 2 nite. I am not in any way a nurse or doctor. but I do have a friend that volunteers in a local homeless shelter and they have precautions for such things.
