Usually, you do not. Most often cysts found on internal organs such as the liver, spleen or kidneys are found incidentally on CT scans or ultrasounds that were done to look for other things. Many of us are walking around with them. They almost never cause a problem unless you have certain disorders like polycystic kidney disease or unless they are very large. Your doctor will be able to tell you if anything further needs to be done.

You don't usually ,they are just watched by the doctor. they are usually fairly harmless. If they really grow big and are impedeing functioning then your spleen can be removed or operated on, but that is not the first choice.
