You need to see a doctor
You could paint your nails a non intrusive color
if you smoke then quit
Stop using nail polish for a while.
soak them in lemon juice also soaking in listerine will help
If you smoke soak them in bleach for about five minutes and scrub hard. Could be a nail infection otherwise.
Get a buffer. One that "sands" off the top layer, then use the buffer to shine. A lot of nail polishes stain nails a yellow color;.
nail polish
quit smokin
I was gonna say what the first person said. Now I'll just say polish them some color darker than yellow. :D
Its possibly fungus. You need something to fight that.I would recomend seeing your doctor for a perscription.
ive heard to rub vicks vapo rub into nails but have never tried it personally
be careful and put a little bleach on a swab and do each nail after it dries wash hands really good with soap. Hope it helps..
The bleach one will definitely work! I smoke and my nails are also yellow in color from smoking and every now and then, but not alot i soak them in pure bleach for a few minutes but it will make your nails more brittle so just be sure to put a nail hardener on after you do this and wash your hands to get all the bleach off. Hope this helps!
basically you have fungus under your nails..
i dont think there is a home remedy.. maybe soaking your nails in alchohol (rubbing alchohol).. or.. go to a drug store.. and there should be a cheap spray or something you can get for it..
try the alchohol first.. and try soaking it for 5 min every 2-3 hours.. and give it a day.. if nothing happens then i would go get some spray for it..
i wouldnt do the bleach.. cause it could irratate your skin and burn..
if youre smoker and its due to smoking.. i dont think there is too much you can do..
It could be a symptom of athlete's foot. Your best bet is to ask a pharmacist/chemist what it is. You don't have to buy what they suggest, but it would probably be a relief to know what's causing it? If you are broke, you can say "Thanks, I forgot my wallet, I'll call in again".

If it's only nicotine on your fingernails, you could rub them with a lemon, the juice bleaches the stain away. Hope this helps. I have a whole herbal encyclopaedia of home remedies, so if you know what it is, ask another Q. & I will key in suggestions if you like.
do you smoke? if so, this is your problem
bleach water - soak your hands in this. once a week.
Vicks on the toenails, but you need to file them to a thinner layer first. Try to get them as thin as they once were. Badger blam cuticle cream for the nails on your hands, twice a day.
no
It doesn't sound like, as some others have implied, you may have any fungal infection. This sounds much simpler. I have found that when I wear darker nail polish colors for a time, that when I remove my polish, my nails are yellowed. Also, if you are using old polish, this is more likely to happen. Let me recommend the following:

Squeeze the juice of half of a fresh lemon into a small bowl. Soak your nails in that for 20-30 minutes. Wash your hands with a gentle cleanser, and dry them. They should bleach naturally, and it's harmless to your skin.

Then, try to go without polish for several weeks to a month. Try just buffing your nails with a good cream and buffer. You can do this yourself, or have it done in a salon. Your nails sould be back to their normal shade in no time.
