Question about urinary test?
Question:
Answers:
They will only look for STD's unless the doctor has written on the form that they would like urine culture and sensitivity done as well. I work in a hospital lab that tests bloods, swabs and urine's for STD'S. The lab will only perform the tests asked for, so its very unlikely that your urine will be tested for routine infection.
If you want your urine tested for possible UTI, you can go to your normal doctor and have them send a sample off or contact the STD clinic and ask them to phone the lab to add on the additional test.
They won't look for a UTI unless you ask them to. But it is actually pretty tough for a guy to get a UTI. Girls are much more susseptible.
If you are worried, have them do a simple urine analysis, but I don't think you have anything to worry about.
