Does any one know what flea bites look like, where they bite and how to get rid of them?

I've got lots of red lumps all over my body. They are not big and not as itchy as knat bits. Nobody else in the house has got as many as me, just one or two.

Flea bites are itchy, not very big but never made lumps on me. Try putting alcohol on them. You got into some kind of bug. If they don't start fading in a couple of days see a doctor. Guess it could be fleas and you just react differently.

Flea bites look like tiny red dots. They can bite anywhere, tend to be alone and are often in creases of the body or places like the underarm. Fleas also like the scalp, where you will not see the bite, but can feel them crawling around.

lol hunnie ive got the same problem me and my hubby and my eldest dont get bite by them. but my youngest and my cusin and mother in law do its all in wot blood type they like . to get ride of them in this weather is hard the best thing to do is go to the vets or if you cant afford the vets get hold of some flea shampoo and wash your cats .. prepare yourself for a catfight. i bathed my cat last night .. it was so funny .. do bear in mind it is summer and you need to do alot of brushin with a flea comb have a jug of water close as it kills the fleas do this twice a week.for your home get some powder sprinkle it over the house and leave it for half an hour ..also do this once a week if you have the time fleas always hatch in this heat alot faster than winter . ,good luck

Unless a cat or dog has been in the house unlikely to be fleas. You would usually see them hopping about, small, black creatures.

Check any pets for fleas, treat regularly with flea treatments. You can buy 'flea bombs' that fill the house with smoke and kill fleas in rugs/ carpets etc, they are very effective.

they bread that fast all it takes is one flea to come in your house they could of jumped off any of you pets and with in hours your carpets and bedding will be infested you need to get the spay from the pet shop and do the whole house.
