It doesn't hurt to get a second opinion, but your doctor may believe that your infection is viral, and if so antibiotics wouldn't help. There are several causes of tonsillitis.
These sites may help you figure out what to do.
i would get a second opinion just to see what other things it could be.
It sounds like tonsillitis.you need to have them removed because you will continue to have the same problem. Infected tonsils are never completed healed.
get a second opinion, but be sure to let them know what meds you were already on
Maybe it's just your body trying to fight off a virus, and anti-biotics won't help with that. I would get a second opinion too if you can
I suggest a second opinion. You may not have tonsilitis, but you should know what you DO have.
And yes, a tonsilectomy might be a good idea.
Good luck!
outta my mind is right. You need a second opinion because you have a bacterial infection, and you need to tell them what you were treated with because the infection was resistant to it.
You might need to have your tonsils taking out
