Answers:
Side effects may include:
Depression, diarrhea, dizziness, itching, rash, shortness of breath, slow heartbeat, tiredness

Peyronie's disease has been reported in fewer than 1 of 100,000 patients. Musculoskeletal pain, blurred vision, decreased libido and tinnitus have also been reported.

There's not a very high chance that he will develop decreased libido being it only has occurred in 1 our or 100,000. As for the other thing you mentioned I did not see them. All medications can have side effects but usually the good outweighs the bad. If something does happen then there are always other medications that can be used for high blood pressure. A medicine that works good for one individual may not work for another. As my Dr explained to me side effects have to be listed on a drug after someone has taken it. It could have only happened to a few people and it may not even be linked to the drug but it has to be listed on the medications list of side effects. Tell him not to worry. It's important to take this medicine for the blood pressure and if he loses weight he may not have a problem anymore and may get to quit the medicine all together.

Hope he gets over his fear and treats his high blood pressure. That's very important.
Gee, I wonder if dead is better than decreased sex drive....hmmmI don't think so. There are other meds that he can take, ask the doctor for alternatives. HBP at that young age is no joke.Weight loss and NO ALCOHOL is a must. Best of luck
