Does anyone know any diseases that cause sudden fainting? PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW SOME!?

Question:
I'm writing a story and I want to know diseases that cause sudden fainting without any warning ahead of time. Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Answers:
If you want to look it up on the internet, sudden fainting without warning could be either syncope or orthostatic hypotension. There are a lot of reasons for this to occur, including administration of certain medications for medical conditions. It is very scary to watch a child do this. Diseases could be heart, high blood pressure, diabetes, low blood sugar, narcolepsy, psychiatric, Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, LQTS syndrome, or neurocardiogenic syndrome, to name a few.

If you are writing a book, get thee to a medical library. Most sufferers of syncope are in their teens or elderly. The one bummer in all this is the sufferer usually loses the pleasure of driving, because you can't have a person driving if they are going to lose consciousness behind the wheel of 3000 pounds of moving metal.

Other Answers:
Narcolepsy - A disease that causes you to fall asleep suddenly without warning

Postural hypotension ie. upon arising from either lying or sitting ones blood pressure drops suddenly causing fainting. TIA's-Transient Ischemic Attacks
Hypoglycemia - Low blood sugar
Narcolepsy - Sleep disorder
Psychogenic Shock
Vagal Stimulus
Carotid Blockage

Is this enough?
