is tramadol a euphoric narcotic?

Question:

Answers:
Okay, I read everyones answers so far and here is the deal. I was on Tramadol for 6 years, and it is NOT a good drug to take. It IS habit forming. It screws with your sleep and it can cause seizures. All of the books say that a bunch of side effects can happen if you OD, but they also can happen if too much builds up in your system.Take it if you want, just BE CAREFUL!!
P.S. If you are only taking it for euphoria, it can cause it in some people, but it is not worth it.

Other Answers:
Tramadol is used for mild pain and although it is an narcotic is is not habit forming. Euphoria is not listed as a side effect. It does have a long list of side effects and you can look this up on Mayoclinic.com

nope - it also goes by the name Ultram. it is a non-narcotic painreliver meant to relieve mild to moderate pain. itll make the pain go away but wont give you the euphoria/buzed feeling of a narcotic painkiller. sorry :)
