for those on medicare what do you think of the new part D?

I'm not on medicare but, I do patient assistance programs at the doctors office where I work and I have to say I am not impressed with it. I think alot of people will have to choose between having food and paying bills or getting medicines. I already know of a few people who are cutting their medicines in half and skipping days to try to make them last. Its just a big mess.
