Answers:
I feel you here. For the last 10 years i have been in your boat.I had all kinds of tests all negative.there is a test the trigger point test if they press on i think there are 18 points and if so many out of the 18 hurt they diagnosr fibromyalgia. It is real and it is painful.usually around your period time it flares up or if you do a repetitious movement. You need to keep going to the doctor as far as antideppresants they never helped me.an anti inflammotory is good for fibro although there are many different kinds so ask to try different ones that dont hurt your stomach. Basically take warm showers, baths, advil, dont overdo it,heating pad drink alot of filtered water and vitamins dont hurt either.also if you have the money accupuncture helps big time and it doesnt hurt. also i do suggest you continue doc.care, sometimes fibro can turn into other things later on in years.1 last piece of advice stay away from stress it aggravates this condition.Always think your health is the most important thing. So if you are in a stressful relationship or job etc, change it or make others understand you cannot be put under unneccesary stress.
Fibromyalgia is a new diagnosis and lumps in with chronic fatigue syndrome and Gulf war syndrome with no consistent findings. Where did they come up with this diagnosis I have no idea?
