Does it make you mad How drug makers advertise their products?

Question:

I mean they give you the symptoms, they give you how much to take, They give you how often to take.. Basically they are setting you up to take their stuff? I consider if brain washing the public to become drug seeking.

and have you noticed that the listed side effects are in a quieter voice and small print!

What pisses me off is how they saturate the tv with them at dinner time...how am I supposed to enjoy my meal if I have to see a dancing stomach and hear about someone's bowels? I mean, if it were up to me I'd shut the damn tv off when we're eating but not everyone in this house agrees with me...often I just skip dinner.

Other Answers:
The most profitable (so called legal) business in the world. They give you a pill, that gives you a side-effect, that they can sell you another pill for, 5 years from now.

the answer really isn't in a pill, everyone is taking something=money making is whats its all about........

yep when they explain the bad side effects of the drug they always want finish it off quick because it would make their product less attractive

I have to laugh at the drug advertisements I see on television. They tell you how great it is going to be for your arthritis, acid reflux, etc....but at the very end they list the possible side effects of the drug--and more times than not, they are worse than the original problem!
