I have been on Amox for about 3 days. I drink green tea, and eat only soup. I rest the entire day. Its really not helping that much. What else should i do?

maybe you need a stronger antibotic.but they usually take around 5 days to start working so wait a little longer.

If you go to the doctor they will take a throught culture and tell you if you have strep or not and give you a really good antibiotic for it. It is Pennesylin, unless you are alergic to that they have a one similar to Pennesylin.

I too have strep. I am on a Z-pak.. usually by day 3 my thoat is numb but not all the swelling is gone... (i'm 48 hours in) I think you should call the doctor tomorrow if you don't feel even a little better in the morning.. hope you feel better soon.
