Has anyone ever taken the interferon shot due from Melonoma? If so what are the side effects?
Question:
Answers:
Actually, you might do better to take the tylenol before your injection, and before you go in for your heavy dose treatments. One of the smartest things you can do is go to www.mpip.org. You'll find huge amounts of information about melanoma and its treatments.
Other Answers:
Take some Tylenol or ibuprofen about 2 hours after your injection and repeat as necessary to minimize side effects which will be flu like symptoms and bone aches. Drink lots of water, get lots of sleep, and be careful driving the day after your injection. Also watch for anger and depression and if they occur the day after your shot, just remember that this is a drug side effect and not a real depression. This will pass as the drug side effects wear off.
