I rather think you could convince him of anything although I understand he's not easily swayed in things. What ever line of reason you chose I would think he'd make exception to your persuasion, I think he likes you; you've got an in there. give him a call sometime, he may be home tonight.

well, let me weigh in on this.. I've been trying to convince him of other things for a month or so with not much headway.. so, he might be right-on with this stubborn thing.. however, I will say in total frankness, that I did get a blurb out of him.. lol on the smoking issue...
