When you used acne medicine, cream or lotion or antibiotic, Were the acnes getting worse and worse before your skin became smooth? How long does it take, 4weeks or 8 weeks? Usually when you use a acne medication the acne does get worse at first. Many of the prescribed and over the counter medications cause skin irritation, inflammation, peeling, and sun sensitivity. When I was 16 I had the worst acne. My face was always bleeding some where due to me picking at it , I also had little craters due to the scaring.
