when your sugars are high is it normal?
Question:
so do you sweat what symptoms if any do you experiance?
Answers:
So, you have actually been diagnosed?
Anyways, for a start - for goodness sakes there is no level of severity with diabetes! You either have it or you dont. People think that because there are two types that one is worse than the other, but its not.
In relation to your question, following 13years of doing research and talking to people with diabetes since my own diagnosis, I've found that people have different reactions to hypo and hyperglycaemia. I can't say I've experienced sweats when I have high blood sugar, but I certainly wouldn't rule it out.
My advice is that if you're worried about it - go see your GP or your diabetes consultant. They will be able to tell you better - or even give your diabetes nurse a call.
You may or may not have noticed that Diabetes UK don't actually label all the symptoms on their website. It's just there to give a general idea.
Hope all is well - take care and don't forget to test your blood sugars and keep ontop of your medication :) -- Now I sound like my mother - Sorry!
I have a friend with very severe diabetes and when his blood sugar gets too high, he gets very hot and sweats alot, often gets a fever, gets dehydrated, delerious and nauseous. It is severe for him, but I'd say that it wouldn't be unlikely for someone to get hot and sweat when their sugar got too high. You might want to ask your doctor about it if it happens alot.
