Anyone here have Eustachian tube dysfunction?

Question:
My ENT doctor says that's what's causing the clicking in my right ear when I swallow. It tends to get worse whenever it's going to rain.It seems to be an allergy of some kind.He said to hold my nose and blow gently and it will open up.It works but is just a tempoary fix.Open to opinions, what do you do for it?The clicking drives me crazy at times and causes vertigo.

Answers:
My 28 yr. old son was told he has Eustachian tube dysfunction and was simply told there was nothing to be done. He also holds his nose and blows. Certain changes in the weather also aggravate it or make it better.

Other Answers:
there is not much the doctor's can do other than do major surgery to open up your eustachain tube and it is not always effective if you have ear problems.
yes... and my vertigo led to another inner ear disease
