You can use an over-the-counter 'anti-fungal'topical cream. One needs to keep surrounding areas clean and do not scratch.

yes.. keep in mind ringworm is very contagious and you can spread it to other people. i suggested going to the store and get an antifugal cream usually to treat athletes foot. its the same fugus that grows on your feet that grows in your hair. but your best bet is to go to the doctor and get something before it speads worse or you give it to someone else.. try putting the cream on your scalp but whatever you do do not scratch it the fugus can get in your finger nails and live there and spread to the rest of your body.wash your hands constantly with soap and water espcecially if you touch your head do not share any hair products that you use with anyone else and when your ringworm is cured throw it away immedatly. keep the area clean and dry.. i have had ring worm and my cat had it too. you can also look online for ring worm treatments for the scaple and a fairly decent price.. i hope this helps take care Liquid Tinactin should work. I used this when my daughter had ringworm. Ringworm is actually a fungus and Tinactin is an anti-fungal medication. You can get it at wal-mart or any pharmacy.

You can also use Lamisil AF or Lotrimin AF creams. That is what alot of pharmacists recommend for ringworm. Do not scratch and if you do touch it wash hands with hot soapy water and maybe use a little alcohol to help kill the bacteria on your hands. Also make sure that anything that the infected area has touched if clothing wash in hot water wash and maybe add some bleach. My sister-in-law worked in childrens rehabilitation and this is what they told her to do.

Not to be Mean or anything But sence it is on someones Head// I would sugest something used on a dog -cat or horse/ would work--cause they have hair and get ringworm-especially cats..Probly cheaper too.
