Can you enlist in the Military with STD's or HIV?
don't they test you for everything in the book? what happens if your positive?
If you have an STD, do you tell your partner?
Answers:
No, you gotta take a full blown physical.......if it's treatable then yea but not HIV or anything deadly
Other Answers:
The military acts as its own blood bank - so if you have anything that can be passed by blood they won't take you. That includes HIV and hepatitis. If you just got crabs somewhere that can be cleared up; but you should be honest with the doc because if they catch you lying about anything you could be kicked out for that.
Does anyone have or know of anyone with Muscular Dystrophy?
Good, question no, but there are people in the military that have stds and hiv......true....very true....and they are still in....
Honestly I don't know if they let you in with HIV, but I know that they don't kick you out for HIV. And I am sure that they will let you in if you have an inactive Viral STD(herpes/HPV) but if you have sores or Syphillus, then they will want you to get treated before you start basic training.
Why would you want too!!
