heart problems are alot..may be involving the valves (stenosis or regurge), muscles (ischemia, infarction, failure (which might be left or right sided or congestive heart failure where the right side failes due to left sided failure) or cardiomyopathies), the outer membrane that is covering the heart, the pericardium (as in pericarditis) or fluid collection (pericardial effusion), or heart problems as a result of lung problems, cor pulmonale..
