where can I find out what a diagostic medical code means i.e. DX:350:00?
Question:
Answers:
dx codes 350-359.9 are for disorders of the peripheral nervous system. I put "350 diagnostic code" in the Yahoo search engine, and the document below came up. It's from Canada, but most diagnostic coding is the same internationally. Then, I found this US Tri-Care document that says the same thing. Specifically, it is about statistics of gulf war veterans with nerve damage. I hope this helps!

Oh, and you can look these codes up- type ICD 9 codes, we look them up everyday in the office with an ICD9 diagnosis coding book.
