My joints: Are they beyond diagnosis?

Question:
My ligaments are far too flexible. I pop joints out of socket doing regular things, and then I have more permanent injuries and more pain. No one can seem to agree on why this is happening. I was told Ehlers Danlos, but then told that I don't fit the bill because of my height and lack of other symptoms. Any suggestions? I'm desperate for treatment. I can't even exercise without hurting myself. Riding an exercise bike gave me shin splints...

Answers:
I have never heard of height having anything to do with it. EDS presents in different forms of severity. Many of us start presenting symptoms around puberty and worsen around the early 20. You may just have hypermobility. However I would try to go to a Rheumtologist or Geneticist. If they really don't know a skin biopsy will tell if you have EDS or not. However, even with a diagnosis there is no cure or real treatment for EDS. The doctors can only treat the symptoms. If you need to talk my myspace is
