Just checking, how high have you seen blood sugar go.?

Question: My sister and I are type 1. A few years ago, she went into a coma and after initial tests, her blood sugar was 1300. She did survive but nobody at the hospital had ever seen sugar levels so high.

I've actually seen a level of 1435, the wildest thing is the guy was still alert and talking to us, absolutely unbelievable!!!

Is that 1300 US measurement? Mine has been 22mmols/l (Engliah measurement system).
My best friend, who is type 1 (i'm type 2) has had a 35 and survived.
