try to find a hospital which is having specialists on the tongue cancer. your sister will be needing a proper treatment now. thats a very imoprtant thing right!! the chances of recovery are depending on its itensity as well as its actual size.

There is a lady currently going through treatment for squamous cell cancer of the tongue who has been reporting frequently on her treatment and progress on the Usenet group alt.support.cancer which can be accessed via Google groups. Her posts have all been in the last 6 weeks and after you figure out her name it will be easy to read all her messages or contact her personally.
My boyfriend has cancer of the mouth/tongue.He has gone through radiation& chemo and we just found out that the cancer is still there.He didn't have surgery because of heart problems.He has a feeding tube because he can't eat very much by mouth and has lost a lot of weight.He will be going back for more chemo.It's very hard to see him going through this,but i'm trying to be strong for him.I must tell you this is a very aggressive cancer.I will be praying for your sister and you.Be strong!!
