depend if it is type 1 or type 2. type 1 cannot be reversed unless you get an implant (there is no guarantee). type 2, you can reverse it by eating health and loss weight.
diabetes is not a disease it just an unbalance of sugar inyour blood and you can cure it without insulin by watching what and how much sugary foods. artificial sugars especially
no right now, with the exception of gestational diabetes(diabetes that pregnant women get), they are working on "cures", it is possible to delay or even stop the onset of borderline diabetes by a healthy diet and exercise
no,a person will always have it and have to manage it with right diet and/or insulin or pills.
Type I can only be reversed with an islet cell transplant. Its not widely avaliable now.
Type II supposedly can be reversed in its early stages with diet and excersize.
the only problems in diabetes stems from high blood sugar. if you control your sugar tightly, you won't develop the pathology of the disease (but that's hard to do). Diabetes can be reversed early on by losing weight (type II).
i believe that the body has the power to heal itself. i think anything can be reversed with the proper diet. my father had kidney failure and heart disease and was dependent on dialysis and insulin. he no longer has to take the insulin because he drank goji juice regularly. im not advertising and tryin to sell it. its true. if u want me to explain in detail, write to tiffanykb2003@yahoo.com
Yes. Health, remember, IS the NORM, and is your Birthright. Everyone has a unique path to imbalance, as they do to balance.
I would pick up a copy of "Syndrome X" immediately, and find out the natural solutions to this imbalance.
Its depend upon what type of Diabetes u have Type 1 or 2.
U need detail information about diabetes.

Diabetes is a DISEASE that can never be reversed. It can be controlled through diet, exercise, and through medicines in extreme cases.
Diabetes is the failure of your pancrease to produce enough insulin to break down the amount of sugars/carbohydrates that you put into your body. Diabetics have a hard time healing from wounds (cat scratches, scrapes, ect) and are at an increased risk for gangrene.
Sadly, diabetes cannot be reversed or cured, just dealt with through diet.
It depends on what type you have and what has caused it.
Type 1 diabetes (the rarest variety) is an auto immune disorder in which the body's own immune system kills off the cells that produce insulin. While these cells can be transplanted in some cases, it requires a life-long regime of anti-rejection drugs, the effects of which can be worse than those of just having diabetes. T1 diabetics take insulin from an external source, either by multiple daily injections of by wearing an insulin pump.
Type 2 diabetes has more than one cause.
Some people's bodies make less insulin as they get older, or they grow resistant to the insulin that they make. There are medication to help with this, and a regime of diet and exercise can keep the condition under control.
Other people only get symptoms of diabetes when they are overweight. In these people, the fat cells in their bodies produce a hormone that makes them resistant to their own insulin. In these individuals, losing weight can alleviate the problem. Since this form of diabetes is brought on by obesity, no longer being obese reverses the problem. In these people , DIABETES CAN BE REVERSED, simply by loosing weight. This does not apply to other forms of the disease that appear in people who are not overweight.
There is one other type of diabetes called Gestational diabetes, which appears when a woman in pregnant and usually goes away when she no longer it. It is often a precursor to her getting diabetes when she is older (in her 40s or 50s). This type of diabetes can also be considered temporary, though I would consider it a "sneak preview" form of the disease for these women, since most of them are destined to get it again in the latter decades of their lives.
A friend of mine.through diet & exercise.has had the diagnosis removed from her. She took Chromium picolinate to help keep her BG levels low, & worked out on a bicycle daily. She no longer has diabetes, but she does have the eye problems.
A friend of my daughter's had a kidney transplant and also had a pancreace transplant. She takes mant anti-rejection drugs but isn't taking insulin. She is 24 years old with tyoe I diabetes. I almost wish I would loose my kidneys.Just kidding, I've had type 1 for 39 years and still doing well by good diet and control.
No. It can be controlled through diet and exercise, but; it can not be "reversed".
Type 2 diabetes can be very well-controlled. If you begin to eat right and to exercise, the symptoms of the diabetes can pretty much disappear. You still have it, but it's much easier to deal with.
You can't really reverse Type 1, however, because they are insulin-dependent. If you take good care of your body, and stuff, then there is no reason why the disease should totally debilitate you.
Yes it can! Look at my information.
Do you mean "cure" ? No my doctor told me this.
but it could be controlled
