There is no such thing as an "armed police hospital" in China, but there are several private hospitals which will perform liver transplants for about that price and about that availability. The operative complication rate is quite likely around 10% which is approximately double what is seen at Western transplant units. Why do you not face a wait in China? It is because the organs are "donated" by executed criminals. Of course you will need to convalesce in a US hospital for about another month after you leave the transplant unit in China.
