What do you think the next big medical advancement will be and when will they put it to practice?
Question:
Answers:
I think it will be based on nanotechnology. Very tiny robots will be able to attack small tumors and blood clots. I'll guess (and it's a pure guess) the first treatments will be done this way in 8 years.

I wish it would be a cure for viruses.but then the Gov and healthcare profession would lose billions. So sadly it will never be released.
Personally I think universally accepted artificial blood is a biggy. Next would be genetically grown parts. Basically if I can grow a new liver for you FROM you we end up with the perfect transplant.
As for artificial blood, if we could come with (and I'm pretty sure they're working on it) artificial blood that can be stored for long periods of time easily (say in the back of an ambulance) it'd go a long way to saving people in the field.
Both of these I think are related and due out within my lifetime. Probably the next 25 years.
