are condomns 100% safe for Sexual transmitted diseases?

Question:
Provided there was no oral sex involved..

Answers:
Condom effectiveness is very close to 100% provided that the condoms are USED CORRECTLY. The actual real life figure for effectiveness is more like 60%-70%, and abstinence only [aka ignorance only] sex ed classes like to point to this figure, and tell young adults "So you see, condoms don't work." This is highly misleading. The problem isn't the condoms, but that people aren't sure how to use them right. And they're not going to learn from people who have the attitude of "Don't do it, and that's all you need to know" either.

Here is some information on condoms, birth control, infection, safer sex, abstinence and other alternatives to intercourse, how to talk to your partner about sexual issues ... even a video on how to CORRECTLY apply a condom.

NO!!!!
not 100% but about as safe as you can get if you're going to have sex.
nope but they're TONS safer than no protection at all
Nothing is 100% other than abstinence (but that's no fun)
Nothing is 100%. Birth control statistics on condoms are about 80% effective - the other 20% due mostly to human error. STDs should be at about the same rate. It also depends which STD we're talking about. If you are concerned, get a test.
are you serious? HOw old are you, go take a health class at a middle school!! NO NO NO NO geeeezzzz sorry I"m not trying to be rude but there are so many ?'s about getting preg. on b/c and geting std's. the only way to prevent anything is by not having SEX!!!!!!! Anything is possible! Condoms are very effective, but no guarntee!!!!!!! if you read the box, they are 99% effective but times that by like a million users or more, and that 1% is a pretty high number. Just be safe!
NO
Technically nothing is a 100% Guaranteed cuz if the condom breaks ur in trouble, however if it dosen't break ur ok. The best condom 2 use is a latex condom the other 1's don't work as well. I personally think the best condom on the market r the female condoms cuz they definatley protect the both of u.
no there not there not even safe for keep your partner from becoming pregnant
No, for one thing they do not protect against Human Papillomavirus (HPV), one of the most common STD's. Lay, Genital Warts, however it does come in other flavors and can lead to cervical cancer in women.
Condomns are ALOT safer than goin without. Its always best to use a cover when ya go into damp, dark places.
nope , and that depends .. if you have syptoms or not .. call your doc . somethings can show up in 2 days some not for 6 months .
you can still get warts (HPV) because the virus is not just on the covered part. Herpes, bugs. Be selective about your sex partners. Keep them few. Make love to the one you love.
NO
No. It depends on what tests you want to get. HIV can hide for six months before you test positive.
