Allergy injection?

You may have been given a shot of diphenhydramine or Benadryl by injection. Now if you were an allergic reaction causing difficulty breathing or swelling of the throat/tongue/face then that is more of epinephrine.

It could have been benedryl or epinephrine. My bf has severe allergies and has to carry an epinephrine shot around with him at all times. It either a generic Benadryl (Diphenhydramine) or Epipen (Epinephrin) injection
A steroid such as Decadron is frequently used for allergy to things like poison ivy.
