LEEP Procedures?

Question: I had one done last thursday and im having a significant amount of discharge. i normally dont have any discharge also its a rancid smell.i normally never emit an odor at all let alone this putrid one. is this normal or could something have gone wrong??

After a procedure on the cervix some discharge is usually considered wnl, but excessive discharge and odor are not normal. you should be checked for a possible infection. Take care dear.

See your doc. I had a LEEP done a few years ago and didn't have any problems. Usually any odd smells or discharge signal an infection.

I had the cone biopsy done a few years ago, this is the one they would do after some doctors do the leep. See your doctor ASAP and let her check you out,if she would decide to do the cone, it is a rather easy procedure,it is done in the hospital as an out patient procedue, and you go home soon after.
