is it possible that we are infected with TB (lung tuberculosis) even without a cough symptom?

Question:
my x-ray result appeared that i have a patch on my upper left lung but the doctor could not say it is a TB rather say it is only an inflammation.

Answers:
You can have TB and not know it. When you first get infected, you may of thought it was the flu. It can be dormant and reactive at a later time. If you have a upper lung consolidation, and do not have an infection acutely, you need a chest CT to make sure it is not anything else. Inflammation is not a good answer for a upper lung consolidation get a second opinion

Other Answers:
Yes.
