Answers:
So ultimately the question comes down to advice for dealing with impending death... I think how we deal with death is as important as how we deal with life.

We should all know, very well, that our time here is limited and our loved ones also will not last forever. Plus heart problems are very common and some form of cancer or another is unfortunately very common as well.

What's the only thing we can do? Enjoy the time we have. Face the difficulty with strength and honor, knowing that these are things we've had to dealwith as humans for, you might even say longer than humans have been humans.

Know that you're not being singled out by an angry universe bent on making things more difficult for you alone.

I've lost all but one of my grand parents. The good ones seem to always go first. :-(

My own parent's time draws closer. I have to say, even the passing thought or mention causes me a good deal of pain. Especially since I have a somewhat difficult situation with them that makes it difficult for us to really enjoy our time as much as we should.

Take life a day at a time, because one day at a time, you can get through anything!

You're always stronger than you think, and it never hurts to be there for others to lean on. For them, and to distract you. Be there for your family. Enjoy life. We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time.

And hey, why not help the fight against cancer? There are a lot of distributed computing networks you can let your computer donate spare time to (computing to fight disease while you're not using it). I like a couple of them, not sure if there is any "best" choice. This news article from CNN lists a few for you to look at.

Join the fight! For Grandpa's of the present & future, everywhere in the world.

Oh... and ignore people on YouQA.com who give medical advice, at least when it's for your grandparents - they should have plenty sufficient professional medical care.

At least, so far as diet changes. :-P
to strengthen heart eat ground coriander change diet for cancer.lots of v8 and fruit juices as well as cranberry and i can't think of any more but ask a health food store of what to strengthen bladder with also i read that milk thistle can work on cancer in all parts of the body.
What a sweet grandchild. I would suggest making short visits because he probably tires easy with his condition and the medicines he is most likely taking. The medical world is much more advanced today than it used to be. My father had bladder cancer and he has recovered well. You might want to ask your grandfather if there is anything you could do for him or get him, such as magazines, books from the library, or even a hug.
Sorry to hear about your Grandpa, but in all actuality, we will all end up with something.

Don't know his age, enjoy him do things for him, spend time with him, and first of all, I sincerely hope he has a very good doctor and a good hospital.

And, I also took a lot of pictures of my loved ones with family members, they really mean alot.

good luck to you and yours.
