Brand and dose distinction. It is the same reason why prescription meds come in different colors and shapes.
Just so they won't look boring
So if you have got a few different ones (reliever and preventer), you immediately know which one you need to use.

Inhalers are colored for a couple different reasons. The color varies between different types of medicine, companies that make the inhalers and strenghts of the medication in the inhaler. Blue is most often used for fast acting short lasting emergency inhalers but can be different depending on the inhaler. Probably to just help be able to tell them apart too.
