Tumors and tanning?

Question:
can you tan if u have a tumor? especially a brain tumor? i have heard that the UV rays dont go past the last layer of your skin..& i know tanning is not good for you either way so dont tell me that, and also i dont have a brain tumor..not that i know of anyways but it still worries me b/c im a hypochrondiac with a bad case of generalized anxiety disorder who think about brain tumors all the time..so im just wondering :]

Answers:
Yes, you can still tan, even if you have a tumor - that is, exposure to the sun will still cause tanning. UV rays damage the sin, if there is excess exposure.

The skin naturally turns tan to protect itself. However, if you are in the sun too long, and the skin burns, you are setting yourself up for skin cancer. Many researchers say this is a way to get melanoma - a deadly type of cancer.

The sun exposure is good for developing vitamin D. There are now a lot of research projects identifying symptoms of not enough vitamin D. The thing you have to remember is sun-safety. A little may be good, but a lot can be harmful.

You will not get brain cancer from being in the sun.

Good luck.
i have no clue, but i hear too much tanning gives you cancer..
