What are the possible causes and cures of multiple sclerosis?

Question:

Answers:
There is no known cure for MS, and frankly, scientists don't know the cause either. The hypothesis is that MS is an auto-immune disease in which the body attacks the sheath called myelin that surrounds and protects the nerves. That has yet to be proved. The symptoms of the disease vary from person to person. Fifty percent of those diagnosed with MS have eye problems and fifty percent suffer cognitive problems. The disease can be relapsing-remitting (in other words, the symptoms come and then go away) or progressive (the symptoms are always apparent and they get worse and worse as times goes by.) I have had this disease for two decades now and have lead a normal life except for the three months when I first came down with it at which time I was blind in my left eye and had tremendous difficulty walking. But after three months, the symptoms went away and I went back to my usual life. On the other hand there are people with this disease who require 24 hour care. They cannot walk, talk, think clearly, see, or maintain themselves at all. The disease is highly unpredictable and not all people have the same set of symptoms. In general, the disease is not fatal and does not attack any of the major organs of the body.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a degenerative disease in which patches of inflammation and scarring interfere with the function of the brain, spinal cord, and/or the nerves to the eyes. The cause of MS is unknown, but the most attractive theory is that it is an immune reaction to the nervous system. Its symptoms include muscular weakness, loss of coordination, and difficulty with speech and vision. It occurs chiefly in young adults and, like arthritis, can have a very variable course. Some people have only a single attack. Others have only a few attacks in a lifetime, recover from these, and experience no disability except during attacks.

there is no known cure. but now that you or the someone you know has it,there is no use in crying over spilt milk .life is only what you make of it. you are not the only one who has it.there is no reason to stop living.allow your life to go on as before. and give the worrying to the good LORD.because no matter what you do or say nature can and will take its course. just remind yourself of other's who have far worse medical condition's than yours, and if you would be half as strong as they are to deal with. suddenly your problem becomes insignificant in comparison to their's.
