What are these spots?
Question:
If there are any medical professionals reading or parents who have had the same syptoms on their child, can you please tell me what this could be?
Many thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there are great chunks of history missing. The 2 most important questions are Is he unwell? and How long has he had them?
If he has been unwell for a few days prior to the blisters chicken pox is an option, I would not like to hazard any other guesses without more history and sight of the lesions. You need to let a health professional have a look.
( Measles is still rare despite the drop in immunisation levels, I last saw a single case 12 years ago! Also of course you don't get blisters.)
Good chance its measles, if they started around his neck
sounds like measles to me but i would phone a professional if you are in the UK phone NHS247
It could be anything but I would say it sounds like chicken pox!! My son had them when he was a baby !! It's good if they get them when their young !! I don't think it sounds like measles !! If it's been hot it maybe a heat rash!! Now you know what I'm going to say " Go to the doctor to be sure !" LOL
Yep sounds very like chicken pox.The only other thing I'd think of,is has he been near anything that he could be allergic to,in thoses areas? IE;new body creams, etc.Good luck hun. :)
could I be controversial and say it could maybe something as simple as a sweat rash??due to the heat?i dont know you or where you live or the temp of your home but it could be a heat reaction. if your child has a raised temp. /sickness/diahorrea it could be an infection but it sounds like he/she has no other symptoms apart from the rash. It could also be a contact reaction due to things like detergent used to wash his her clothes, latex used in fabrics like lycra for example, perhaps (on the neck and leg bands of tee shirts perhaps?)it sounds like a sensitivity or heat rash. sorry for being a bit vague?hope he/she is okay!lots of thought from a fellow mum!!x
