LOL No poles up where I live except for ageing veterans. They do bring skills we are lacking though

LOL yes i work in transport n more than half of our drivers now are poles, only about 3 can talk any English though!. We've got one working in the office who has to translate to them all!!
no i think the same i live in slough which was a dump anyway but the polish have made it worse theres so many of them the only people in slough arnt polish are the asians and me and my mate

Think of it like this. Lots of Polish people, particularly Professional people, such as Doctors and Dentists have uprooted their lives and some have left their families behind to work in the UK. They have taken jobs where their abilities are under used, such as Bar work, Cleaning jobs etc. Because the pay and standard of life is higher than their own country. I consider this a very brave thing to do. Polish people have lived in the UK for many more years than you probably realise. So if British people are not willing to do these menial jobs, someone has to. I do not know any personally or professionally but i know this is a free and rich society we live in. Don't be so Xenophobic and embrace these people and their culture.

The thing about Poles, is they come over, work hard, save money then go back home, whereas other certain people stay forever.
My friend was a police sergeant in Poland, and he's now getting more money over here as a bus driver!
