You probably ate something which scratched your throat and now it's raw so each time you eat something else the scratch is getting irritated. If that is what it is it will heal in a day or two.
You are 14 and obese and feel as if something is obstructing your esophagus?
You may benefit from being evaluated by a physician for possible causes of this obstructive feeling, such as an enlarged thyroid (hypothyroidism can cause obesity and an enlarged thyroid, which can make you feel as if you are choking).
If you took one of your green-tea tablets without adequate fluid, the tablet may have caused some damage to your esophagus. Even a small amount of damage there can feel very obstructive.
Please read the label of your green tea tablets carefully to make sure you are not potentially allergic to any of the tablets' contents or even to the green tea itself.
Your obstructive feeling may also be caused by some other type of allergy.
You may want to talk to the physician about how to lose weight safely through healthy eating and exercise. Yes, green tea is supposed to be good for you, but it can cause side effects and does interact with a lot of other medications. And since it's considered a supplement, the Food and Drug Administration doesn't monitor its manufacture, so you cannot be completely sure you are actually getting what dosage the bottle lists.
